Our Inspection Program
Poorly maintained truck-mounted cranes can be extremely dangerous for anyone operating them or attempting to work near them. To prevent costly or even fatal accidents, all lifting equipment must be inspected and certified annually to ensure safe working conditions in compliance with WorkSafe BC’s Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and its related guidelines.
Cranes require stability testing, non-destructive testing, and annual mechanical inspections by a certified crane inspector. We can provide all three in addition to a thorough mechanical inspection to ensure there aren’t any hidden problems that will appear when you least expect them.
Oftentimes in the industry, inspections are purely operational: if each component of the crane functions, that equipment is certified and placed back in the field. We’ve always found that dangerously negligent. Every inspection we perform involves a thorough mechanical inspection of each component of your crane.
